We open by tearing into a Wall Street Journal report on extreme executive perks - six-figure "wellness" allowances, executives already earning tens of millions layered with millions more in benefits, while frontline employees fight to cover basic healthcare. We both agree we’re capitalists who believe in rewarding success. What bothers us is the spread - and the boards who sign off on it without asking a single hard question.
